An external duct route may span several floors, pass around facade features and continue onto the roof. The job requires agreed fixing details, a sequence for delivering sections and access to each connection.
We undertake the work at height involved in installing, replacing and removing external ductwork and ventilation components. Scope is assessed from drawings, section dimensions and weights, fixing positions and the condition of the supporting structure.
We coordinate with the mechanical contractor and the site representative. For occupied buildings, we discuss access, work zones, delivery of components and working hours in advance. Ventilation design and the responsibilities of each contractor are agreed separately.
